My best friend's art show

I met Sunny when we were both teaching at Dartmouth College. I was at the economics department, and she the studio art department. Now she is a tenured professor there and I am on my way to become a registered nurse.

Life has directed us to different path, but we still try to keep in touch. It has not been easy. Since Dartmouth, my husband and I has our first baby, and we have been moving twice. Sunny stayed at Hanover, and remain single.

She is my first and only artist friend. I love her way of thinking and living. Everything about her is completely different from me. She is stylish, but more a trendsetter than a follower. She is a workaholic with a career ambition. And most of all, she can make things symmetrical and beautiful! Yet, we are more alike than anyone else around us. We are both from a traditional Asian family.
She has been having many art shows around the country. The latest one is going to be in Philadelphia, at Pageant-Soloveev, http://www.pageantsoloveev.com/homeframeset.html. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, please stop by and please send my best to Soo Young Park, or Sunny, as her friends call her.
