MoMA visit

It is free admission to MoMA at New York City, on Fridays, 4-8pm!
So after a very satisfying solo shopping spree in NYC, I dragged my just-got-off-work-I-am-so-tired husband to MoMA for a date. Ok, not exactly a date. It was just me who wanted to visit MoMA. But, hey, it was free!

There were so many people (maybe because it was free...). At one point, I was so tempted to just sit outside in the atrium by the water fountain and watching the people-- their clothes, their posture, and the way they talked-- as my "museum visit". Despite the crowd, we managed to visit the floors that we were interested in. It was a tiring but very fruitul visit.

When we turned around the corner at the artchitecture and design exhibition on the thrid floor, we found ourselves gashing at a breathtakingly beautiful Italian design sportscar, Cicitalia, and a motocycle and a bicycle. We both immediately thought about our son, who loves cars and motorcycles and bicycles to an extreme extend. It would have been fun to take him with us next time... maybe in 5 years!

  1. Thank you for your blog information and experience MOMA. I did visit Sonny's web site.I appreciate her work. Museum's welcome children, but your choice to wait 5 years is a good one. That age begins to have a meaning to them. Continue to keep me informed of your activities.
